Paula Schlemper de Oliveira is a visiting researcher focusing on the development of explainable visual interfaces for ethical educational management. She holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and has a foundational background in Industrial Design. Her doctoral research involved developing methods for experiential corporate identities, while her master’s studies focused on brand value management and project development. A professor at the Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB) since 2010, Paula has extensive experience in Product Design, Ergonomics, and academic leadership, having served in roles such as Education Coordinator. Prior to her research in Canada, she also worked at the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC) within the Directorate for the Development of the Federal Network of Vocational, Scientific, and Technological Education. Her current work combines her background in design and institutional management with artificial intelligence to enhance transparency and trustworthiness in public sector decision-making.
