The study, a collaborative effort by Joelma Peixoto, Akriti Pandey, Mahadeo Sukhai, and Peter Lewis, analyzes data from an extensive Canadian survey to explore what persons with sight loss need in order to trust AI: clear benefits, human-in-the-loop safeguards, and accessible understanding. The paper will soon be available in The Journal On Technology and Persons with Disabilities 2026.
