Nathan presents co-designed application at The Food for Good Summit

Alongside his PhD thesis Nathan has been working closely with not-for-profits to address food insecurity. During Nathan’s and Peter’s work with the Pamoja Institute on their Zero Hunger application (previous work), Nathan began working with the East Scarborough Storefront to develop a hyper-local, community-driven, knowledge-platform: togetherkgo.

Over the last 5 months, Nathan has facilitated co-design workshops, supervised a student developer from Ontario Tech, designed testing and feedback sessions, and collaborated with a range of individuals to bring the project to life. This week he presented the first release of TogetherKGO at The Food for Good Summit.
