Huge congratulations to Tess on passing her Doctoral Candidacy exam, yesterday!

Tess’s research on critical AI literacy is exploring how to support pre-service teachers in articulating and enacting their own professional positions toward AI use, empowering teachers to articulate professional values, guide ethical and pedagogical decision-making, and critically examine their understanding of AI in classroom practice.

Her research is specifically investigating how pre-service teachers can intentionally construct and use boundary objects to support reflection and critical engagement with and AI in educational contexts.
